For updated show news and other information on our herd check the Herd Highlights. Please email me your Chinook Winds goats' show wins. I will post them on our champions page. Since we are trying to get our herd numbers down to our most loved pet goats and not caring about breeding any longer, we will again have some Baywatch offspring for sale. Take a look at our sales list.

Welcome to our website. We are Sherri and Aaron Jones. We live just 14 miles north of Memphis, TN where we raise show quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats that are double registered with the American Goat Society and the Nigerian Dwarf Goat Association. They can also be registered with the American Dairy Goat Association. Nigerians are kept for showing, milking, and as companion animals. If you have come to our website wanting to learn more about our goats, go to the Nigerian Dwarf Goats page. This will tell you the history of our herd and our sales policy as well as herd management practices. You need to read all this if you are interested in buying a goat. You can also go down to the bottom of this page and click on any of the links to go to the individual goat pages. |

We moved out to the
country in late 1997, when on a weekend drive, we
passed Sherri's aunt and uncle’s old house, and it was for sale. Sadly, they
have both been deceased for several years. But we are able to relive fond family
memories here.
We moved here with just our tortoises, cockatoos, a few leopard geckos, 2 rabbits, an iguana, a cat and 3 dogs. But our menagerie of animals quickly grew. We had wanted goats and llamas since 1989, when we were volunteers in the children’s petting zoo at Zoo Atlanta. Our first true farm animals were Pygmy goats in 1998. Then came the Nigerian Dwarf Goats in 1999. We now have about 70 Nigerians. That is still too many. We need to sell several more, so please check out what we have for sale. We also have 8 dogs, a miniature horse, 2 mini pot-bellied pigs and a several chickens. |

We certainly allow visitors, but please be aware that we both work long hours,
usually being gone 12 hour plus days, and then needing to come home and feed
animals. Sherri is a veterinary technician and has been at the same animal hospital
for fifteen years. It is hard to reach us by phone, so please email first. We
don't mind long emails at all, but we don't have much time for long phone calls. We update the
website often, so please keep checking back with
us.
I have expanded the website to include pages about my other hobbies and you can go to them by using the links at the bottom of this page. These pages include my Lladro and other porcelain goat figurines, my model horse collection, model horses I have for sale, and my Dept 56 Snow village collections (so far only the Halloween village, which is my favorite, but I also love the Christmas Lane collection). |

We adopted Marley as a Chihuahua mix. I don't think either of his parents ever saw a Chihuahua. His legs are a mile long and he's over 40 lbs now. Fortunately over two years later he still acts towards our Chis like he is still the sickly puppy that was barely 1 lb . They are definitely dominant.
